After being disappointed with the most recent Warren Miller Entertainment film Children of Winter, I decided to take a look at Refresh. It featured Warren Miller’s absolutely classy voice and had a powerful trailer.
Though, I didn’t like the movie. Here’s why:
- Although somewhat narrated by Warren Miller, it truly misses commentaries and interviews with the athletes.
- Locations are inaccurate; mixing Alaska pipes with Helsinki rails isn’t that of a great idea. It was actually quite confusing and annoying.
- Personally, I miss footage of champaign powder free-riding. 2 hours of rails do get quite boring.
On a scale of 1 through 10, I’d give the movie a 5/10.
